Gig'Em Week

     Gig'em Week provides new students an opportunity to follow up on questions that have arisen since they arrived on campus and to pick up literature about academic advising, bus routes, parking,  food services, rec sports, community information, and service areas in the Division of Student Affairs.  Staffed by Orientation Leaders and Student Affairs professionals, Gig'em Week offers Aggies a week of fun and games in a carnival like atmosphere.  The week's events include The Pizza Taste Off, an Ice Cream Social as well as various other events put on by student organizations.  These games and events are set up outside major campus spots like the Recreation Center, Memorial Student Center and Academic Plaza.  Orientation Leaders assist with set-up, staffing, and tear-down, and answer questions from students throughout the day.
